Todd Fisher has written the book “My Girls” about mom Debbie Reynolds and sister Carrie Fisher
Todd Fisher, the son of Debbie Reynolds and brother of Carrie Fisher, announced this week that on June 5, HarperCollins will be releasing his book MY GIRLS: A Lifetime With Carrie and Debbie. He describes it as “an honest, loving tribute to my amazing mother and sister.”
I look forward to reading this! Todd is not a man with an ax to grind. He was genuinely close to his family and will do right by them. He somehow retained his grace and composure under the glare of the media spotlight as he struggled with his own overwhelming grief after Carrie and Debbie died within a day of each other in December 2016.
Todd shares his heart and his memories of Debbie and Carrie with deeply personal stories from his earliest years to those last unfathomable days. His book, part memoir, part homage, celebrates their legacies through a more intimate, poignant, and often hilarious portrait of these two remarkable women than has ever been revealed before. The book includes 32 pages of never-before-seen photos and memorabilia from his family’s private archives,
