Today’s Morning Man: Russell Tovey!
Loved him so much in HBO’s Looking, in the ABC series Quantico, and in the indie flick The Pass. The openly gay actor played gay characters in all three productions.
He’s currently starring in the new season of American Horror Story.
The English actor is best known in his own country for playing the role of werewolf George Sands in the BBC’s supernatural comedy-drama Being Human, Rudge in both the stage and film versions of The History Boys, and Steve in the BBC Three sitcom Him & Her. He also co-starred in an ensemble cast on the show Years and Years, and appeared with Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen in the drama film The Good Liar.
In addition to The History Boys, his stage credits include the revival of the Tony Kushner play Angels in America, opposite Andrew Garfield and Nathan Lane at the Royal National Theatre, A View from the Bridge in New York, and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf on Broadway.
Happy birthday to Russell!
