Thursday Morning Man: Tom Berklund!

A huge thanks to reader Bruce for bringing Tom Berklund to my attention and suggesting him for Morning Man.

He’s pretty dreamy.

Tom’s big Broadway break came in 2008 when he was cast as Gregory in the revival of A Chorus Line then moved on to The Addams Family.

The talented performer starred in Bent at Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles and is currently in the national tour of A Chorus Line.

But Tom’s not just busy on stage. He plays Spock in the indie flick Star Trek: Captain Pike and has done guest spots on TV’s Royal Pains, Partners, and Looking.

Tom’s openly gay and of the celluloid closet he had this to say in 2011; “There are many big-name closeted actors that do this for the sake of their careers. Personally, I don’t think it’s a choice with much integrity, but I do understand the professional sacrifice you may be making to be honest about ones sexuality.”
