Thursday Morning Man: Steve Kornacki!
Steve Kornacki is a national political correspondent for NBC News and the multimedia anchor and data analyst for much of MSNBC’s election coverage. He gained a lot of new fans thanks to his marathon performance at the big board during 2020 election coverage.
But I’ve long been hornacki for Kornacki and want to remind everyone that I was into Steve way before he became the MSNBC “it’ boy. He was featured as a Greg In Hollywood Morning Man way back on Dec. 24, 2010!
At that time, I had no idea he was gay. I was just attracted to his intelligence and looks. I wrote in 2010: “Kornacki is, let’s face it, also easy on the eyes, but he’s also really smart and he has a way of talking about an issue in a very clear and concise way as well as with confidence and authority. You just get the feeling he knows what he’s talking about and knows the players and which way the wind is blowing.”
Less than a year later, Steve came out publicly in a deeply personal column. It took us into the compartmentalized world that a lot of men feel they must live in in order to have the life they want.
Steve turned 44 this week and is at the top of his game. He’s far more into his work and his charts than fame which makes him even more appealing.
