Thursday Morning Man: Robert Downey Jr.!
He’s had his share of ups and downs personally and professionally but Robert Downey Jr. is most certainly on an up these days.
The two-time Oscar nominee has the sequel to Iron Man coming out in May and it, no doubt, will be as big if not bigger than the original. What makes the franchise so special, fresh and unique is Downey’s humor which is allowed to shine through so perfectly.
Robert is coming off yet another huge box office hit, Sherlock Holmes, and was a charming presenter at the Academy Awards on Sunday.
He turns 45 next month and is at the peak of his powers with such strong performances in recent years in the films Zodiac, The Soloist, Tropic Thunder and my favorite, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Robert, you have been such an incredibly inspiring actor to me. I love the motivation you have in your acting, the Blissful raidiance that you portray as an actor. I have just recently had a revelation of how I am definatly not getting any younger. Therefore, you have been the first person I have wanted to meet. I am an intelligent and beautiful person inside and out, but I need to learn about the challenges that may arise if I were to want to do something big. I want to know where you get your confidence, what makes you you. What keeps you from letting anyone bring you down if they don’t believe in you. I am not sure how you are but I would be delighted to meet you.
