Thursday Morning Man: Murray Bartlett!

I’m busy watching a lot of screeners of movies that are going to be shown at Outfest 2011 next month. One of the films I saw yesterday was the drama August which explores the question: “What if he comes back?”

It’s a terrific film and I’ll write more about it in my upcoming Outfest preview.

Anyway, one of the film’s leading men is this handsome guy named Murray Bartlett.

Boy, he is just too sexy for words in this film.

Murray is probably best known for his role as Cyrus Foley on the CBS soap Guiding Light which was canceled in 2009. He had joined the show after finishing the Australian tour of The Boy From Oz with Hugh Jackman.

While in his native Australia, Murray also appeared regularly on the Australian television series Headland. His other television work includes appearances on All My Children as well as White Collar, Farscape and McLead’s Daughters.

Murray graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in his hometown of Sydney.
