Thursday Morning Man: Max von Essen!

Max von Essen is currently starring in the national tour of Falsettos and he is so good. Saw the show last week at the Ahmanson Theatre.

Max has a long list on stage triumphs including more than a year on Broadway in the role of Parisian aristocrat Henri in the musical An American in Paris for which he received a Tony Award nod for Best Featured Actor.

The openly gay performer has also been in Broadway productions of Evita, Les Miserables, Dance of the Vampires and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Max also has scores of Off-Broadway and regional credits including a national tour of Xanadu.
