Thursday Morning Man: Matt Lauria!

It would be mighty tough to imagine two shows more different than the football drama Friday Night Lights and the now-canceled Lipstick Jungle, one of my favorite guilty pleasure from a few years back.

So it’s a real testament to the acting abilities of Matt Lauria that he fit in so well on both shows in two very different roles.

On Lights, he plays running back Luke Cafferty, a charming yet cocky junior who reluctantly finds himself playing for Coach Taylor’s East Dillon squad.. On Lipstick, he was Roy Merritt, the gay assistant to a fashion designer played  by Lindsay Price.

The handsome actor has also had guest roles on 30 Rock and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

It looks like the sky is the limit for this young talent!
