Thursday Morning Man: Lucas Black!

Since I’ve been staying at my mom’s for a few days this week and she has very limited cable I find myself watching some shows I don’t normally watch.

One of them was NCIS: New Orleans and I found myself smitten with Lucas Black who plays Special Agent Christopher Lasalle.

He just has a way about him.

Now 33, Lucas has been acting since he was a teen and made his film debut in the terrific 1994 Kevin Costner film The War.

He went on to have roles in such films as Sling Blade, Ghosts of Mississippi, Cold Mountain, Friday Night Lights, Jarhead and Seven Days in Utopia and also starred in the short-lived TV series American Gothic.

He also starred in the third film in The Fast and the Furious series, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and made a cameo in last year’s Furious 7.

It’s rumored that he will again reprise his role of Sean Boswell in Fast and Furious 8.

I thought he was adorable in “American Gothic”, but when I saw him as an adult (I think it was in advertisements for the third Fast & Furious, to be honest), I was like, Holy S—! He grew up into one of the hottest men I’ve ever seen. And that wonderful accent of his.

And the best part? Everytime I’ve seen an interview or anything with him, he comes across as one of the nicest, most humble guys. Definitely a major hearththrob!

  2. I first saw him in “Crazy in Alabama”. He was a good actor even as a kid. I was happy to see him all grown up and handsome in NCIS New Orleans.
