Thursday Morning Man: Joseph Kennedy III!
If you watched the official Democrats respond to the State of the Union then you are already familiar with this handsome guy.
He’s Joseph P. Kennedy III, a congressman from Massachusetts who is a scion of one of America’s foremost political dynasties.
The 37 year old is the son of former Representative Joseph P. Kennedy II, and worked as a Peace Corps volunteer and as an assistant district attorney in the Cape and Islands and Middlesex offices before his election to Congress.
Kennedy is a grandson of Senator and former United States Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, a great-nephew of President John F. Kennedy and Senator Ted Kennedy, and a great-grandson of Joseph P. Kennedy Sr., former U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom
During his speech Tuesday night Kennedy said in part: “Bullies may land a punch. They might leave a mark. But they have never, not once, in the history of our United States, managed to match the strength and spirit of a people united in defense of their future. Politicians can be cheered for the promises they make. Our country will be judged by the promises we keep. That is the measure of our character. That’s who we are. Out of many. One.
Ladies and gentlemen, have faith: The state of our union is hopeful, resilient, enduring.”
