Thursday Morning Man: Jordi Vilasuso!
Now that I’m watching Days of Our Lives again after more than two years away, I see that some very hunky men have come and gone during that time including Jordi Vilasuso who played the role of Dario Hernandez for awhile. If you were a fan of the ABC daytime soap All My Children, then you may remember the oh-so-handsome Jordi when he played the role of Griffin Castillo.
Bur the 36-year-old actor is best known for originating the role of Tony Santos on the CBS soap Guiding Light, a role for which he won a Daytime Emmy in 2003 for outstanding younger actor. After leaving that soap, Jordi appeared in the movies The Last Home Run, The Lost City, Heights and La Linea and did guest spots in such television series as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, CSI: Miami, and 8 Simple Rules.
In 2015, Jordi had a role in the terrific feature film The Invitation in which he played a gay man invited to a mysterious dinner party with his boyfriend. Off-screen, Jordi has a wife and two daughters.
