grateful to be right where I am. writing this message surrounded by my family back at home. grandma made catfish and grits. we have birthday cake AND sweet potato pie on deck. we even hit that Mississippi Cha Cha Slide one good time right at midnight. (If you know, you know) while my mind has been busy on all of the work that lies ahead, my heart is entirely full in this moment. family is everything. so are all you beautiful souls I’ve met along the way. here’s to another chapter of lessons, love, growth, & deeper understanding.
