Thursday Morning Man: Jake Pavelka!

My official stance on ABC’s The Bachelor is that it’s an awfully silly way to try and meet your soulmate.

But hey, when the bachelor is a dreamboat like Jake Pavelka, I may be forced to check it out – again and again when the new season premieres on Jan. 4.

The show’s subtitle this season is On the Wings of Love because Jake is an airline pilot. Viewers who caught The Bachelorette last season will recognize him as one of the guys rejected by Jillian Harris.

Jake talks to TV Guide about what it’s like being the man candy this time around: “It’s not any less emotional on the other side. … you have these women’s hearts in your hands, and you can decide to either love it or throw it on the ground and stomp on it, because that’s what it feels like.”
