Thursday Morning Man: Garret Dillahunt!
Take a look at a guy who is going to be the sexiest grandpa on television this fall.
He’s Garret Dillahunt and he’s one of the stars of the new ABC sitcom Raising Hope. The young son of he and Martha Plimpton’s character has a child with a woman who turns out to be a serial killer and who is executed. He decides to raise the baby with the help of his zany family which also includes his grandmother who is played by Cloris Leachman!
The 45-year-old actor was a veteran of Broadway and off-Broadway when he began tackling television and film roles about a decade ago. He guested on such series as The X Files and NYPD Blue early one and has appeared in several dramatic season finales of various series including as a pedophile in Law & Order: SVU, a paralyzed serial killer on Criminal Minds as well as a villainĀ on Burn Notice.
He played two different characters on HBO’s Deadwood, had a recurring role on the USA Network series The 4400 and on ER and also had roles on John From Cincinatti and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. His film roles include The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and No Country for Old Men.

Denise Robinson says:
This guy is fantastic. I remember him being on that OTHER Showtime series,”Leap Years”, which was produced by the US creators of Queer As Folk.
Richard says:
Looks like Garret has had some bad plastic surgery… He would have been better off (like most people) letting things age naturally!!
sue johnson says:
He’s too young to play a grandpa—geeez! I loved him in Deadwood.
