There’s a new blog in town: Spectrum Los Angeles!
I’m really excited for my friend, Stevie St. John, who launched her own website this week: Spectrum Los Angeles, a new online hub for the LGBTQ community in LA.
Stevie is the ideal person for this kind of site: she just ended her longtime employment at the LA Gay & Lesbian Center where she was part of the communications team.
She writes in her welcome post: ‘I want this site to be inclusive and welcoming and to reflect the diversity of the community; from genderqueer and questioning to pansexual and polyamorous, all facets of the queer community will be reflected.’
She also writes: ‘… I hope to create an inclusive space for connection and discussion where the diverse and vibrant threads of L.A.’s queer community will weave a rich online tapestry. Whether you are new to L.A., a lifetime Angeleno or somewhere in between, I hope that this site will be a valuable tool in helping you connect with your community.’
You can follow Spectrum Los Angeles on Facebook at and on Twitter. and I have also added it to the Greg In Hollywood blogroll so you can also jump to it from here!
Stevie is a most wonderful and talented person and I wish her all the luck in the world on her new venture!
