The time to celebrate the extraordinary life of JD Disalvatore is this Sunday at the Renberg Theatre
Filmmaker. LGBT Activist, Animal Welfare Advocate, Loyal friend, Karaoke queen.
JD Disalvatore was all those things, and much more.
In her too-short life, she worked relentlessly to make the world a better place, raise awareness for the issues she cared about deeply, and bring the community together.
To remember and celebrate JD, a memorial program will be held on Sunday, December 3 from 12-4 pm in the Renberg Theater located at the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Village at ed Gould Plaza.
The memorial will be followed by a reception in the courtyard with food, hosted bar, charity tables sponsored by her favorites causes, and in true JD fashion, karaoke.
Hosted by Roberta Munroe, there will be speakers from family, friends, and the organizations JD so fiercely supported: OUTFEST, the POINT FOUNDATION, East Valley Animal Shelter, the JUNE MAZER LESBIAN ARCHIVES, the TREVOR PROJECT.
Shortly after JD’s death in August, which came after a valiant five-year battle against cancer, she became Greg In Hollywood’s first and only Morning Woman because she so deserved a tribute that is one of a kind.
Tickets are FREE, but space is limited, so please RSVP here by December 1.
