The homophobic and racist Instagram post from “Big Brother” contestant Caleb Reynolds
I have not watched the CBS summer series Big Brother ever since 2008 when season nine champion Evil Dick Donato was allowed to stay in the game after burning a female contestant with a cigarette.
That was the end for me brother.
And the quality of contestants seems to have remained a bit dodgy.
This season’s first problem child is Caleb Reynolds, a self-described ‘metrosexual cowboy’ from Kentucky.
Reynolds reportedly wrote on Instagram after the 2012 reelection of President Barack Obama: ‘You believe in murder? You agree with fags? I guess so but I don’t agree with murdering a innocent baby which he clearly doesn’t mind. Nothin has changed in these last four years. Your just a democrat that wants that Muslim monkey in office. I’m done with you, your dismissed.’
The post has since been deleted but was captured on screengrabs.
The show, now in its 16th season, faced a storm of controversy last summer when several of its contestants made homophobic and racist comments on the air.
Reynolds is one of 16 contestants vying for a first prize of $500,000. The money goes to the houseguest who can survive the longest in the house without being evicted.
