Sweet & sexy drama “Boy Meets Boy” out Oct. 26

I don’t know about all of you, but I am really savoring any chance I get to go out and be with people at events that are vaccine mandated so I can feel relatively safe in a crowd.

That was the case last summer with Outfest 2021 which came at a time that I was going to go bananas if I didn’t get out and mix!

One of my very favorite movies during the festival was Boy Meets Boy which was sweet and sexy and is a bit of a queer version of Before Sunrise.

The film is set in the streets of Berlin. It follows Harry (Matthew James Morrison) who has been partying for 48 hours and Johannes (Alexandros Koutsoulis) whop meet on the dance floor of a club in Berlin. With 15 hours until his flight home, Johannes offers to help Harry print his boarding pass. This mundane task leads to a day together wandering the city. The contrasts in their lives and values force each one to confront their own truths as they explore their mutual attraction.

The feature is directed by Daniel Sanchez Lopez and I would love to see a sequel in a few years!

Either way, both leads seem to have successful careers ahead of them!
