From 1976 10th Season opener of The Carol Burnett Show, Carol does a take-off on Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman: Mary Mary Quite Contrary, Mary Mary Quite Contrary. Mary was played by Louise Lasser and her pal Loretta was played by the great Mary Kay Place on the classic but short-lived soap. Here, Loretta is played by Vicki Lawrence. Jim Nabors and Tim Conway are also in the sketch.
