Sunday Music: Two of my favorite Rod Stewart songs to celebrate the singer’s 76th birthday

It was summer of 1993, I had a broken heart, and had to quickly move into my own apartment after a break-up. What helped me get through that period, somehow, was Rod Stewart’s Unplugged album. I hadn’t been a huge fan of his before that and I don’t even remember why I bought it. But I fell in love with just about every single song and lived to love again – and to have a few more broken hearts. But the first is always the worst!

And so, on Rod Stewart’s 76th birthday, here are a few of my faves from that album: Have I Told You Lately and Reason to Believe.
