Sunday Morning Man: David Boreanaz!
There are very few actors who handle their stardom as well as David Boreanaz.
The handsome star of the hit Fox crime comedy-drama Bones seems to enjoy being an actor and being on a hit series but also seems to just go about his business without a lot of fuss.
That’s probably because the 40 year old actor is so used to being a TV star by now. Few actors can equal his unbroken record of success since coming onto the scene 12 years ago as the mysterious Angel on the cult classic Buffy and the Vampire Slayer.
After a few seasons, his character was given its own series and Boreanaz went on to star in Angel for five seasons. He segued directly from that hit to another: Bones. He stars as FBI Agent Seeley Booth opposite Emily Deschanel on the popular show which is currently in its fifth season and has been renewed for a sixth season.
David has done some films including the 2001 slasher flick Valentine and the direct-to-DVD movie The Crow: Wicked Prayer. A few years ago, he took on a gay roles in the indie film Suffering Man’s Charity co-starring Alan Cumming who also directed. Cumming plays an eccentric music teacher who takes in a struggling writer, Sebastian, who overstays his welcome. He turns the tables on his young tenant in an effort to make him work off his rent debt but Sebastian dies accidentally in the process. He tries to make it up to him by helping him get his book published posthumously. When the book is published, He can’t help but take credit for the work of genius and Sebastian comes back to haunt him.
The movie was released on DVD as Ghost Writer.
