Snapped! Olympic legend Greg Louganis revisits the very first swimming pool he ever dove in
How cool is this? Johnny Chaillot-Louganis just posted this amazing picture on Facebook. It’s of his husband, Olympic diving champion Greg Louganis, standing in the very first pool he ever dove in located in a backyard in El Cajon, California. I believe Greg was 9 or 10 when he began to dive and by 16 he was representing the US at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal. He narrowly missed out on the gold as he took home a silver medal. The 1980 Olympics in Moscow were boycotted by the US but Greg won two gold at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and two more at the 1988 Olympic Games in South Korea. That folks is why he’s a legend and the best there ever was.
