Siobhan Magnus voted off “American Idol”

_American Idol_ contestant Siobhan MagnusIt’s reached a point on American Idol where everyone’s a winner.

On tonight’s show, 20-year-old Siobhan Magnus was voted off the show leaving Michael Lynche, Aaron Kelly, Casey James, Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze as the top 5.

Siobhan, a free spirit who the judges ran hot and cold on, could not hide her disappointment with the vote but she still smiled and belted out Aretha Franklin’s Think and did so beautifully.

I’m calling it right now: the final two will be Bowersox and DeWyze. Crystal may be hurt by her season-long front-runner status just enough to propel Lee to the crown.

With a pair of appearances in the bottom two in the last two weeks, Casey has become suddenly vulnerable and not the shoo-in for top three that he had seemed destined for.

It seems on American Idol that sometimes the “vote” results have nothing to do with the performance. Siobhan Magnus’s performance yesterday was the best of the night in my and my family’s opinions. The judges gushed over it and she was placed at the end of the show, where they usually put the best performance. Today she is gone. Why? Who is calling the shots?
Some people report that there was a mix up with the phone numbers on the West Coast and Aaron Kelly got her votes. Others claim the wrong number was on the official Idol page on Facebook. If you recorded the show or saves the Facebook page and her number was either missing or incorrect, please report it to the show and newspapers and that you have a copy. If so, Idol should bring her back and have a double elimination if necessary. Otherwise, why bother voting or even watching that phony show?

I totally agree, Victor! She was the one singer on the show who could sing at all levels. She could sing very low, or shatter the crystal in your home with her high notes. It didn’t matter what theme music it was…she always did great! I voted for her allot of times Tuesday night, and hope they all went through to her! I live in Michigan, and I am careful with numbers and voting, just to make sure I am doing it the way it should and I want. Casey is my second fav, and was shocked to see him in the bottom, 2 weeks in a row. Ever notice how hard it is for the judges to criticize Crystal or Big Mike? HMMMMMMMMMMMM? Makes ya wonder if they fix things or not!
