Showtune Sunday: All about “Wicked”

Universal’s adaptation of Act One (with some padding) of the popular Broadway musical Wicked was No. 1 in North America with $114 million from 3,888 theaters over the weekend.

Those dazzling ticket sales rank as the third biggest domestic debut of the year behind Deadpool & Wolverine ($211 million) and Inside Out 2 ($154 million).

i have not yet seen the film because I’m out of town but I will be taking it in at The Grove AMC next week! So in the meantime, here are some of the songs from the musical by the original Broadway stars Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth plus Chris Colfer from an episode of Glee.
