Showtune Sunday: All About Christine Baranski!
She’s been playing the terrific role of attorney Diane Lockhart since 2009 – first on The Good Wife and now on The Good Fight.
And while she’s earned scores of Emmy nominations for her dramatic work, on the occasion of her 69th birthday today, we celebrate the musical talents of Christine Baranski.
She, of course, starred in the two Mamma Mia movies, and also played Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd and the title role in Mame.
A year ago, she was part of a most memorable performance (with Meryl Streep and Audra MacDonald) of The Ladies Who Lunch in celebration of Stephen Sondheim’s 90th birthday.
