“Sex and the City” Saturday: Carrie hits the town with the girls after being dumped via Post-It note

This is my favorite episode from season six of Sex and the City, maybe even my favorite ever.

Depressed author Jack Berger (Ron Livingston) dumps Carrie via Post-It Note, a humiliation Carrie shares during breakfast with the girls. The other news at that meal was that Charlotte got engaged to Harry.

The girls decide to hit the town that night. Miranda wears her skinny jeans which she had not fit into since high school when she had mono! There are so many funny things that happen after the girls try and score some pot and end up in a dive bar where Samantha incurs the wrath of the rough-looking girlfriend (in a tube top) of the guy she just kissed.

I love the moment when the always-tough Samantha realizes she’s about to get her ass kicked. What does she do? She screams and runs out of the bar with Carrie.

Makes me laugh every time.
