See the trailer for “Such Good People”

Let me get this straight, this is a movie about a gay couple with openly gay actors in the lead?

I love it!

And they are mighty talented too: Michael Urie (Ugly Betty) and Randy Harrison (Queer as Folk).

While both are best known for their TV roles, they are both accomplished stage stars and I’m thrilled to see them as the leads in this big screen comedy.

They play a couple who are house-sitting for celebrity philanthropists and discover a secret room filled with cash. The homeowners then die under mysterious circumstances overseas.

The cast also includes Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty), Scott Wolf (Party of Five), Alec Mapa (Switched at Birth), Lance Bass and the great Drew Droege.

The film is directed by Stewart Wade.

I’m so sad that I can’t attend the film’s July 7 red carpet screening (I’ve got Cher tickets!)  at LA’s Majestic Crest Theater (1262 Westwood Blvd).

Here is the film’s trailer just unveiled this week:

Your posting is news to me and would like to see. Netflix does not list for availability, what does it take to get Netflix attention to add for future availability?

  3. Looks like fun!

  4. All those straight boys must be shivering in their boots? What next, put bisexuals in gay roles? Que terrible!

  5. First of all Greg, I just want to thank you for this website. It’s awesome. I love what you have to say about gay entertainment, and I agree with most of it. I especially enjoy reading your recaps of Days and other tv shows. I’m just wondering.. would it be possible for you to make a recap of Tyrant? The show started out on tuesday, and it has a couple of gay characters in it. The show is actually quite good too (although somewhat flawed). It would be amazing if you could do a recap/review of the show. Thanks in advance for all the hard work you put into this website. It’s much appreciated.
