See the first episode of the charming new comedy “Please Like Me” to premiere this week on Pivot TV
Oh, I love this.
This is the first episode of Please Like Me, an Aussie show premiering in the US on August 1.
It’s such a charming show about an awkward gay 20-something trying to make his way in the world.
It was created by, written by and stars Josh Thomas who has got to be some kind of mad genius. It’s so smart and funny as is he and I cannot wait to see more of these characters – every single one of them.
The series begins with Josh realizing that he is gay and his mother attempting suicide with an overdose of Panadol.
The show airs on the new cable channelĀ pivot.tv. More information atĀ pleaselikeme.org.
After you watch the first episodes, you will be glad to know that a second 10-episode season has already been ordered to be co-produced by Pivot and Australia’s ABC.
