See Nancy Pelosi’s “It Gets Better” video as well as Dan Savage’s reaction to President Obama’s message
Dan Savage’s It Gets Better campaign is such a wonderful idea and I have been so deeply moved by the videos made by such folks as Tim Gunn, Nate Berkus, Kathy Griffin, Neil Patrick Harris, Adam Lambert and Darryl Stephens.
Now some of our nation’s leaders are weighing in and that’s fine but to tell you the truth, I’d rather they worked harder for total equality and let their actions speak for themselves. That’s why people have such mixed feelings about President Barack Obama’s It Gets Better video from a few days ago. It would get better if gays could serve in the military openly and if they could marry each other.
Anyway, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has a few things to say to young folks including this: “To anyone who feels different, to those of you who feel lost or think you don’t fit in, to those who feel singled out because of who you are — I add my voice to the chorus of parents, friends, teachers, mentors and leaders in your neighborhoods and across the country to say, ‘It gets better.’ You are not alone.”

Pelosi has got to be one of the the majority of liberal people in politics within the particular region. It’s onerous for us to believe how people can easily reelect her within their own perfect mind.
