See Michael Douglas and Matt Damon in costume as Liberace and “chauffeur” Scott Thorson
Vanity Fair has just posted this photo of two-time Oscar winner Michael Douglas (best actor – Wall Street, best picture – One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest) and Oscar-winning screenwriter (Good Will Hunting) Matt Damon fully inhabiting the roles of Liberace and Scott Thorson.
They are the stars of the upcoming HBO original film Behind the Candelabra which is directed by another Oscar winner, Steven Soderbergh.
Thorson is Liberace’s former live-in chauffeur, bodyguard, secretary, and boy toy. He sued the performer for palimony in 1982, five years before Liberace’s death from AIDS in 1987. The movie is based in Thorson’s memoir.

Wow, Michael looks like Eric Estrada!!!
Charlie says:
LOL! He does look like Estrada. I would have never guessed that Douglas was supposed to be Liberace. I’m afraid its gonna end up a caricature.
