See a terrific interview with Howard Bragman
I’m not sure why I’m in such an over-sharing mood today (I mentioned my parents’ divorces two posts ago) but I’m not sure if I’ve ever mentioned this publicly before: When I got laid off from my job as a columnist and blogger at the LA Daily News 4.5 years ago, one of the first people to call me to offer support and a story for my new blog was Howard Bragman.
I already thought the world of him but that just cemented it for me.
So I want to share this interview Howard has done for the 200th episode of 10 Percent with David Perry.
Howard appears regularly on ABC and CNN and has founded two PR companies.
He talks about how he got started in PR and about how he has segued from traditional PR to more crisis management. He’s also become known over the years as an expert at helping celebrities come out publicly including Chely Wright, Dick Sargeant and John Amaechi.
Howard also talks about guiding the PR campaign for Chaz Bono’s transition from female to male.
