See a preview of Matt Bomer in “The Sinner”
For six seasons, Matt Bomer was a fixture on the USA Network as the star of White Collar.
He’s worked non-stop in film (Magic Mike, Papi Chulo, The Nice Guys), television (American Horror Story, Will & Grace, Doom Patrol, The Normal Heart), and stage (The Boys in the Band) since the end of White Collar. Now he returns to USA in a very different role for season three of The Sinner, an anthology series that examines how and why ordinary people commit brutal crimes.
Detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) investigates a tragic car accident in upstate New York and uncovers a hidden crime that pulls him into the most dangerous and disturbing case of his career. Bomer stars here as Jamie, an upstanding local resident and expectant father who looks to Ambrose for support in the wake of the accident.
The wreckage includes a blood-soaked headlight and the hand of a potential victim. Jamie’s exact involvement in the accident remains unclear but he does have a visible scar.
