Here are some scenes from day six of the 2016 AIDS LifeCycle: From Lompoc to Ventura
Participants in this year’s AIDS LifeCycle are crossing the finish line right now at Fairfax High School after their 7-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money and awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS. I’ll have some photos later tonight or early tomorrow of the closing ceremony. These pics are from day 6 from Lompoc to Ventura. There are 2,400 cyclists from almost every state and 17 countries, supported by a crew of 605 volunteer “roadies.” The world’s largest annual HIV/AIDS fundraiser raised more than $16.1 million this year.
