Saturday Video Special: Betty White spars with Carol Burnett and Vicki Lawrence in “Family” sketches

Betty White is best known for her roles of Sue Ann Nivens on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Rose Nyland on The Golden Girls and Elka Ostrovsky on Hot in Cleveland.

But another one of her memorable characters was that of the haughty Ellen Harper Jackson on a series of Family sketches of The Carol Burnett Show as the other daughter of Vicki Lawrence’s Mama character and sister of poor Eunice.

Here are two of the sketches that showcases the hilarious tension between the three characters.
