Sarah Paulson joins cast of HBO’s “Game Change”

Out actress Sarah Paulson, so good in the TV series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and in the film Down With Love, has landed a new high-profile gig: she will play John McCain’s senior campaign adviser Nicolle Wallace in the HBO film Game Change.

The movie is directed by Jay Roach and written by Danny Strong. It follows McCain’s (Ed Harris) 2008 presidential campaign, from his selection of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (Julianne Moore) as his running mate, their campaign and defeat in the general election.
