Ryan Murphy is now a daddy!
Okay, so you know the premise of the NBC comedy The New Normal, right?
An attractive gay couple played by Andrew Rannells and Justin Bartha are preparing to welcome their first child into the world and have created an unlikely family with the surrogate mother, her young daughter and bigoted grandmother.
Hopefully the situation is a little less complicated for the show’s co-creator Ryan Murphy who became a father on Christmas Day!
Murphy and his husband David Miller beat Normal’s fictional couple to the delivery room when they became the parents of a son.
The couple sent the birth announcement out to friends via email, according to E!Online.
The baby’s name is Logan Phineas Miller Murphy and the email included a photo of the newborn laying inside of a Christmas stocking. He weighs 6.6 pounds and is 21 inches long.
In addition t0 The New Normal, in its first season on NBC, Murphy also continues to produce Glee which is in its fourth season on Fox and the FX hit American Horror Story now in its second season.
All that and a baby too! He’s a very busy man!
