Roger Federer wins 95th career tournament in Basel – second most in history for any male player
The dream season for Roger Federer, now 36, continued today when he beat Juan Martin Del Potro in the finals of the Swiss Indoors in Basel. It was the seventh tournament victory of the season for second-ranked Federer who is the reigning Wimbledon and Australian Open champion. It was his 95th career title which moves him into second place all-time behind only Jimmy Connors who won 109. Federer’s last tournament of the season will be the ATP Finals starting Nov. 12 in London.
