Roger Federer wins 1,200th career match!
Love, love, love seeing Roger Federer reach new milestones in his legendary career.
Earlier today, in Madrid, the tennis icon achieved his 1,200th career victory with a dramatic 6-0, 4-6, 7-6 win over French star Gael Monfils.
The only male player to have won more matches in his career is Jimmy Connors with 1,256. Connors also holds the record for most tournament victories with 109. Federer is second with 101 titles.
In his first clay court tournament in three years, Federer has now reached the quarterfinals. Federer is playing in Madrid as a warm-up for the French Open which he won in 2009 and was runner-up four other times.
