Monday Morning Man: Rafael Nadal!

Spanish heartthrob Rafael Nadal continues to show why he is the number one tennis player in the world. The reigning Wimbledon, French Open, Australian Open and Olympic champion won another big title on Sunday at Indian Wells.

He beat America’s best player, Andy Roddick in the semifinals then steamrolled past Britain’s top player Andy Murray in the final.

Nadal’s dominance is all the more impressive because because he dethroned Roger Federer, one of the best players of all-time. We were denied one of Federer and Nadal’s classic finals because Murray took out the 13-time grand slam champion in the semis.

Nadal said after his win that he was having a “dream start” to the 2009 season. I think he’s just plain dreamy.
