Rachel Dolezal says she’s bisexual
And apparently there’s even more to this story.
Rachel Dolezal, the former NAACP chapter president accused of pretending to be black, is also saying she’s bisexual.
She made the disclosure during an interview on NBC’s The Today Show when discussing how her racial identity impacts her romantic life.
‘I’m bisexual. And so, you know, I’ve dated men and women,’ she said.
‘I will intentionally ask, like, “So do you just date light-skinned women? What’s your spectrum?”‘
During the same interview, Dolezal also discussed how she related to the recent Vanity Fair cover story on Caitlyn Jenner who came out earlier this year as transgender.
‘I cried. Because I resonated with some of the themes of isolation, of being misunderstood – to not know if you have a conversation with somebody, will that relationship then end because they have seen you as one way.’
Dolezal resigned from her position as president of the Spokane, Washington, chapter of the NAACP this week after her parents, who are white, went public as her biological mother and father.
She has gone on to say she identifies as being black which has led some to compare her situation to that of Jenner and other trans people.

James says:
She’s not black, and she’s probably not bisexual. She craves attention and will do anything to get it. Next, she’ll announce a sex change.
Joe says:
This woman needs a good shrink. She screams for attention.
