On LA Galaxy’s Pride Night, Robbie Rogers scores his first goal as an openly gay player
So happy for Robbie Rogers.
How fitting that the first openly gay player to play Major League Soccer scored his first goal since coming out on the LA Galaxy’s Pride Night.
Robbie’s goal came during Galaxy’s 5-0 win against Portland.
He later tweeted: ‘Great pride night @LAGalaxy huge win for us and perfect night to score my first goal for us!’

GOAL, Robbie, Go!! This score couldn’t have happened at a more perfect time of the year. A group of WeHo soccer fans along with his boyfriend were there supporting the champ.
