New season of Bravo’s “Kathy” will be live!

I don’t know about you, but I felt like the first season of Kathy Griffin’s talk show on Bravo was just missing its mark much of the time.

But I sang the theme song of Kathy all over the house and liked enough about the show to keep watching every week.

Well, now comes word that when Kathy returns for it’s second season on January 10, it will be live!

Well, live with a seven second delay, of course. Bravo isn’t crazy!

‘I am looking forward to any kind of moment that will make myself and the audience nervous,’ Kathy tells Huffington Post.. ‘I do feel like when you have guests that are in a combination that might be a little atypical, combined with me and a very nervous network, something good is going to happen.’

‘The nice thing about going live is – and what I enjoy about being a guest on live shows is – you go in there and what’s great is every single time you really think you know what’s going to happen and you’re always wrong,’ she adds. ‘That’s what’s going to be great about this show: watching me be wrong week after week about what’s going to happen.’

Her first week guests will be Jane Lynch and Liza Minnelli!

‘I love me some Liza and I love me some Jane Lynch,’ says Kathy. ‘I’ve known Jane since we were both auditioning — I think we were auditioning for Phoebe on “Friends” like all my other girlfriends did. She’s so great and so talented and I know Liza socially and I’ve worked with her a couple of times. She’s a living legend and she has a great sense of humor. It’s a great combo. I think Jane is so excited to sit next to Liza and Liza’s so excited to be sitting next to Jane and who knows what’s going to happen. It’s going to be great.’
