Neil Patrick Harris to host Tonys again!

This is such great news: Neil Patrick Harris is hosting this year’s Tony Awards!

This marks the third time NPH will lend his talents to the ceremony honoring Broadway’s best and he has really made it a fun experience – especially with his memorable opening and closing numbers (see videos below).

“I’m thrilled to be a part of this year’s Tony Awards,” he said in a statement. “Not only will I be shining a spotlight on the best that Broadway has to offer, but hopefully I’ll score some free house seats to a show or 5.”

NPH is best known for his television roles on How I Met Your Mother and Doogie Howser MD but he is a also a Broadway veteran who in the years between his hit sitcoms starred in the musicals Assassins and Cabaret and in the play Proof.
