Neil Patrick Harris talks “Hedwig and Angry Inch” with Conan: “I’m going to have to be all dragged out”

When Neil Patrick Harris finishes his ninth and final season of the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, he will head back to Broadway to star in the musical Hedwig and Angry Inch.

He guested on Conan and the two talked about NPH taking on the role of Hedwig, an East German transgender singer and leader of a rock-and-roll band.

“I’m more worried about the eyebrows than having to tape my wiener down with duct tape!” he tells Conan in the clip above.

In the next two clips, he talks about having his butt “honked” by Elton John’s partner David Furnish which was captured in a photo. He says gays get a pass on things like that.
