Neil Patrick Harris pays a visit to Stephen Colbert and shares his concerns about his twins’ lists to Santa
Neil Patrick Harris has a feeling he’s going to be up very late on Christmas Eve assembling things – very big things.
His 4-year-old twins, Gideon and Harper, have made their Christmas lists for Santa Claus and there’s nothing small on them.
Son Gideon has requested a bounce house and a ‘life-sized’ rocket ship.
‘That’s what he’s after,’ Harris tells Stephen Colbert on The Late Show.
‘We live in a brownstone in the city. Where are we supposed to out this life-sized rocket?’
Harris hints that Gideon’s Christmas wish will at least come partially true: ‘It might not be life-sized.’
Daughter Harper asked for ‘a pink karaoke machine’ and, yes, a life-sized dollhouse.
‘She’s 48 inches tall. I said, “Harper, a life-sized dollhouse for you is just a house.”‘ Harris says.
He asked his daughter: ‘Where do we put a life-sized dollhouse that’s large enough for a person?’
Harper, whose other daddy is David Burtka, had the answer: ‘On the roof.’
