Neil Patrick Harris not afraid to disagree with Simon Cowell as guest judge on “American Idol”
I’m sure Ellen DeGeneres will do just great as the new fourth American Idol judge but after seeing Neil Patrick Harris in the role, I think he would have been dynamite.Not only does Neil have great instincts, he also has the confidence to challenge Simon Cowell with a certain credibility in a way that others judges don’t. I guess it was kind of an Alpha male thing maybe. Randy Jackson is just too laid back to really care about challenging Simon but NPH stepped up an defended a contestant that Simon absolutely did not like and she made it. As she was outside celebrating with her supporters, she said it would not have happened without Neil Patrick Harris.
