My chat with RuPaul
Tonight is the second season premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race on Logo TV and I had a very interesting chat with the world’s most famous drag queen about it a few days ago.
The show calls for 12 contestants to go through a series of challenges in their quest to become the next drag superstar.
“Watching the TV show is really a study in tenacity of human spirit,” RuPaul said. “We have these little boys who grew up to be drag queens who have the tenacity to keep at it in a male society where behaving in a feminine manner is treason to have that moxie and chutzpah you can’t poo poo that, that’s the stuff empires are built.”
