Mr. Black goes to Washington …

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the US Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in cases challenging the constitutionality of the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and California’s Proposition 8.

Writer-director-activist Dustin Lance Black is flying to Washington DC at this very moment for the historic occasion and just posted this message on Facebook:
“Getting a bit emotional 36K feet in the air on my way to our nation’s capitol for our case against Prop 8 at the US Supreme Court. These past 4 years have been quite the journey — likely the most important one I’ll ever have the privilege of being a part of.”
