Oh my god!! The trailer is cringeworthy. The wife’s acting is much to be desired. And the slap. That triggered me. I don’t care what your culture or grief is you don’t slap someone. It is unacceptable. I suppose the wife would be the first to use I am a women’s defense you justify her actions.
I love the concept of the movie. A story that has a truth.
May I suggest another movie? I saw a great movie on Amazon Prime the other day-Giant Little Ones. A different take on young teens, one of them has a gay father, exploring their sexuality and the consequences of that. The dialog/conversation between one teenager with his gay father in the closet of his home is on-point, captivating, and loving. A must-see.
