Morning Man Classic: Kris Kristofferson!

I don’t think Kris Kistofferson has ever been sexier than when he played rocker John Norman Howard in 1976′s A Star is Born opposite Barbra Streisand.

That’s the first time I remember laying eyes on him and I was smitten.

By that time, the Country Music Hall of Famer was already known for writing and recording such hits as Me and Bobby McGee, For the Good Times, Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down and Help Me Make It Through the Night.

His film career was also red-hot with starring roles in Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, Blume in Love, The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Sea, Semi-Tough, Songwriter, and Lone Star.

Kristofferson, now 78, recently appeared in the films Joyful Noise with Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah, Deadfall as well as Dolphin Tale and its sequel.

One Remark

  1. Loved him, back when men actually looked like men. Unlike the “shaved” everywhere so-called men of today….
